He decided to change up his lighting schedule and intensity. Prior to doing this his tank was doing very well. His corals did not adjust well to the lighting change and a few pieces started to wither away.

Currently running 4 hydra52hds and 2 Orphek strips on Old tank that is 28” deep with lights 12” off water. As corals are larger and lights 5 yrs old, I’m worrying about par levels mid to lower tank.

I'm upgrading to a 120 gallon tank soon. I want the light to look good and obviously provide the corals with good growth.

Would anybody mind sharing the settings youre using on the app that are giving you the best results. I plan on having more coral than fish, and am currently running a nuvo 30L tank with about 30 lbs of live rock in it.

2021年7月31日 · I know every tank is different so that may not be the case for someone else.) Another observation I have made is how brightly the corals fluoresce once the whites turn off and the blues come one. I have kept 3 mixed reef tanks over the years, all successfully, but I have never seen corals fluoresce to this extent.

One of my lights now has a purple hue and isn’t as bright as the others. They are all paired and running the same light program.
