I was playing with getting raw data with a touchpad and thought it would be cool to be able to draw with it. I googled to see if anyone had done it and found your question. That said, my program won't work on 10-year-old hardware/software, because it requires the touchpad to use a Windows Precision Touchpad driver, which is a more recent thing.

I tried both of these anyway, and neither of them worked. My sister also has a Lenovo laptop with the exact same model (my mom bought us both 2 of the same laptop).

It may consider holding the Ctrl key as an option for the touchpad, e.g. hold Ctrl+touchpad click. Consider going to your touchpad configuration. Looking for an option where the touchpad turns off while typing.

2019年2月6日 · Strangely, the active pen still works. A quick google search produces dozens of reports of this (finger touch stops working, but pen still works), primarily for Lenovo laptops. I've tried all the suggestions, including reverting the Windows update, and even reinstalling Windows. If the active pen works, it can't be the hardware?
