Feb 7, 2024 · My Microsoft bluetooth mouse suddenly stopped working on Windows 11. I assumed it was the battery but I've changed it three times. When I disconnect and reconnect using add device, the mouse displays on the bluetooth list, connects momentarily, and then disconnects after a couple of seconds.

Nov 12, 2023 · I removed the mouse from the bluetooth devices and paired it again: when I pair the mouse, on the PC it shows that the mouse is connected but the mouse keeps blinking as if it is stuck on pairing mode. Only if I turn off the mouse and turn it back on it stops the pairing mode, shows as if it is connected to the PC but doesn't work.

Select Start , then select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot . In Find and fix other problems, select Bluetooth, and then select Run the troubleshooter and follow the instructions.

Disable and enable driver software has no effect. The only thing that works is to reboot. Then the Microsoft Notebook Bluetooth 5000 Mouse works beautify until it disconnects.
