Jane Couch, MBE (born 14 August 1968) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1994 to 2007. She became the first licensed female boxer in the United Kingdom in 1998. [2] Couch was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2024. [3]

Born Jane Allyson Couch on August 14, 1968 in Fleetwood, Lancashire, England. After seeing a documentary on women’s boxing, an intrigued Couch decided to give boxing a go. Based out of the Fleetwood Amateur Boxing Club, she began boxing in 1994 at the age of 26.
