2020年4月12日 · In Excel of Office 365 the Print Area in the 'Page Setup/ Sheet / Print Area' is grayed out. It looks like one has to highlight the print area and then go to 'Page Layout / Print Area / Set Print Area'. It seems awkward to highlight large print areas and check to look at that area on a print preview screen.
Limiting viewable or scrollable worksheet size
I'm using Excel for Mac 2017. Is there a way to define the size of a worksheet. I'm not referring to Set Print Area. I mean that when we open an excel worksheet. we will see only the active part of the worksheet, and not all the unused rows and columns. Thanks for your advice.

"Set Print area" or "Clear printing area" options not working. Excel 16.75 on Mac. When I select the area to print, then choose "Set Print Area" It parses out the 1st column to one page and the last two columns to print on a 3rd page. This doesn't make any sense. I did already check my updates and my Excel is current.
