2020年12月13日 · We Repcently purchased a home that came with a 6000 series Heat N Glo gas fireplace. The fireplace works properly when using the on/off switch in the control panel. It does not work with the remote. When pushing the button you can see the red light on the receiver turn on/off but it doesn’t light the fireplace.

2019年11月19日 · The fireplace seems to be either on or off, with no regulation to the flame size at all. Using the remote I can dial it between high and low, the stepper motor turns the regulator, but the flame height does not change. Running it at the lowest setting last night for about 20-30 minutes caused the glass, brick, and logs to all turn black.

I tested the rch-09a/atp95 and it emits 1.9 volts after clicking remote and then emits 0 volts after clicking it again. Is 1.9 volts enough from the remote to turn fireplace on/off?

I was told at the store where I bought it that I need to replace both the remote AND the receiver within the gas insert for $265. They said they do not sell remotes individually. 2023年11月30日 · Unfortunately I did not receive any answers. I did not have a problem getting the remote to sync as far as on/off and flame/blower adjustment but I'm still thinking that auxiliary functions might need another step to get it working. Sorry.

2018年11月12日 · Any wall switch, designed for 120 VAC, can also quit working at any time, too. Using a switch designed for 120 volts with a half volt can occasionally produce unreliable operation. That was a fairly common repair on gas fireplaces, although cleaning the pilot orifice was the #1 cause of burners not lighting.

2015年3月15日 · I have a 10-year old Heat N Glo SL-550TRS-C with a remote wall t-stat that is used as the only heating source in my unit here in Northern California. I turned off the gas during the hot season, and when I re-lit it, the thermostat no longer turns on/off the flame and I need to manually adjust the gas valve to get heat.
