Naturally at $90 for the Harbor freight model (it goes on sale for $99 frequently & as an added plus the "Entertainment Coupon Book" has a 10 percent off coupon for Harbor Freight in it) versus $150 for the Triton (& it never is seen on sale for that low of a price), I chose the H/F model.

2014年1月16日 · I have the harbor freight central machinery 14 inch band saw. I bought it used for a $100. and the table insert was alraedy gone. Does anyone know where to buy a replacement. I don't see any that are made for the harbor freight saw. With all the saws out there I bet there is one that fits, Delta or Grizzly, Jet maybe Just not sure where to start.

Do I fork over the bucks for a Porter Cable jig or do I buy a cheaper jig and see if it does the job for less money. I have tried this type of approach many times with many tools.

I'm also looking to modify mine to add some cabinet space, raise it up a bit, etc. I only paid $119 b/c it was on sale and I used the HF 25% coupon.

I bought the HF because the other two are too big to haul out to my yard to pull through a Super Dust Deputy to do pine cone and leaf clean up. The first thing I replaced was the dust pump. I replaced with with a 1 micron bag. It did okay, but I wanted more.

It does have a 9" disc sander but when I bought it the table that supports what ever you are sanding with the disc was missing. I thought that I could just buy one from Harbor Freight but I was wrong. Found out that you can not buy parts from them for this sander at all.
