[solved] Windows 11 install and run error - FreeCAD Forum
2022年8月9日 · The FreeCAD "About" function does not pick up the correct Windows version. Yes, Windows 11 is mostly a re-skinned Windows 10, but "About" does not pick up the correct release version either. I suspect the information available to FreeCAD has moved inside Windows. Everything else behaves just like it does on Windows 7 and Windows 10.
[solved] Uninstalling FreeCAD (on Windows 10) isn't fully successful
2020年1月16日 · there is no FreeCAD uninstaller in Windows start menu so I checked in Windows apps and features and this is using file called Uninstall-FreeCAD.exe I closed apps and features and started Uninstall-FreeCAD.exe from Windows explorer. All applications was closed when I run it. I did complete uninstall including user data.

2017年9月19日 · Windows Vista is the oldest that you can run it on. In fact, I don't think it is even possible to build FreeCAD for XP anymore, because we have to use at least Visual Studio 2013. Windows XP is truly ancient, install Linux.

2023年4月20日 · I have tried very unsuccessfully, to install and run FreeCAD on my Windows 11 tablet. I have Windows 11 Pro installed, version 22H2 on a Microsoft Surface Pro X tablet. I'm not sure if this is the issue or not, however I have downloaded the program several times from several different download sites.
