2024年12月18日 · I have a 2019 Escape SE and the key fob intermittently does not unlock or lock the car and is not recognized when trying to use the push button start. it started not being super common but now is almost every time. I have replaced the batteries in both Keys no change, i disconnected the car battery for a bit and no change. Any ideas?

2023年3月1日 · I brought it back to the dealer and the service dept. rep stood outside the car, clicked the fob a couple times and said there's nothing wrong with the car. Since my 2024 Escape did not have the keyless I paid $300 to have one installed, but Ford still needs to fix this since it happens to service people; valets, car wash attendants, etc.

2023年2月22日 · When I park our 2020 Escape in our locked garage I leave the key fob in the console cup holder and the car unlocked. When we next attempt to open the drivers door it will be locked but all the other doors and the lift gate will be unlocked. This happens most of the time but not always. Sometimes the drivers door will also be open.

2024年9月2日 · The high amp fuses can crack internally leading to intermittent issues like key fob not recognized or random stalling or random lights working/not working. The culprit is often the 50A one in the far right side (Standing at front of vehicle looking towards rear).

The battery died in my key fob and after replacing the battery, the car doesn't recognize the fob. I replaced both batteries with brand new Duracell batteries and I still get the message. This is my wife's car but I used it a couple of days ago and noticed the message.

2014年5月20日 · Drove to the Ford and talked to my service advisor who checked the key fob and asked if I had changed the battery which I had, although the old one tested good. He took it apart and found that I had put the battery in upside down. The key fob shows a "-" on the fob which I thought meant the minus "-" goes up not down.
