2023年10月9日 · There are two variants of New Threat: New Threat 2.0 and New Threat Combat Only. New Threat 2.0 is the main variant, and comes with two game modes: Game Type A and Game Type B. Type A mostly sticks to the vanilla scenario and encounters, with some exceptions. While not using a new translation, it does clean up the script to fix a lot of its issues.

Game Type A sticks to the game's prescribed encounters, and simply rebalances everything and gives bosses new attacks and AI patterns.

2021年2月18日 · I just recently finished a playthrough of FF7 New Threat 2.0 using Satsuki v4. It looked really good. Version 5 seems to look even better. I'll wait for 7th Heaven to be updated with native support of the required FFNx release necessary for Satsuku v5 before playing again. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later.

2023年1月17日 · If you go down that route, aerith will be organically integrated into the game's story with new dialogue. Type B goes buck wild and changes a ton of stuff. Some of the pre new threat 2.0 events/changes that people have seen in videos over the years are now secluded to Type B. so if you want to play new threat with minimal changes, go with Type A.

2019年7月20日 · I just ran the installer as admin, pointed it to the FF7 steam directory, and that was it. Took a few seconds. Then you get a prompt for NT and difficulty when you start a new game. I fucking died to the first boss, the robot scorpion lol. I don't know what happened, Barrett was instantly deleted when I attacked while the tail was up.

2020年4月21日 · EDIT: If any of you want to see New Threat in action, Max Dood played all of it last year. I recommend you check it out. Here's the first video of the playthrough. I believe he was played version 1.4 or 1.5. New Threat 2.0 will come out later this year, and I'm excited to play it.
