This product certainly has been around for a long time. I had a 2000 Durango with a 4.7 that had an idle south of smooth. I couldn't smooth it out.

2009年7月10日 · Restore does have solid, soft metal particles in it, that's what it uses to 'fill in' imperfections in the cylinder walls, so yeah, you will see some particles around when using it. Apparently, this stuff DOES work well on old engines that are almost beyond help...only place it is really worth trying.

2005年3月21日 · No need to. The size of the metallic (CSL) particals in Restore are designed small enough to pass through filter media, but are the correct size to lodge in cylinder wall abraisions. Its an effective, albeit temporary product. I take it you didn't see the filter posted the other day that was completely clogged and gummed up using restore.
