I have lots of experienced at vinyl, and hardy board, but i have yet to install vinly on ICF's. I'm think screwing the siding on is probalby the best for staying secured on the wall, but seem to very time consuming.

From their site, I found that they do not sell their blocks to individuals, you have to order a shell package, which is exactly what we want to do - let one company to build us a shell and after that to take over the management. I know my home is a perfect square 40'x40' with an entry recessed by 5'. 9' ceilings and doing sub-grade ICF to the footing, slab on grade. 8 90s, with no other corners. ARXX blocks. Take out 200 sq/ft of windows/doors. 6" core. We are doing the 1st floor ICF and 2nd floor 2x8 stick.

2007年11月14日 · Some people are using colored synthetic stucco on ICF. The blocks don't expand or contract with temperature changes. So, the stucco doesn't crack and fall off. Because the color is added to the stucco, it doesn't need to be painted. There is also an interesting type of concrete siding. It is relatively thin and it attaches to the wall with screws.

IN the past I have used the owens corning product. In my opinion Buildblock, Logix, etc have better products, but the owens product worked just fine.

If you are going to tackle the install yourself, you will want to answer these questions, which company has a distributor close to you, can they provide tech. support, do they have enough bracing to handle your job, can they help with your permits, answering any questions the …

Forget the Watkins and Lavan - probably the same company lol.. small time guys. nudura does not have its own hanger.. what they show is ICF Connect. Tedious boring slow method! Simpson - great but can be a bit pricey stick to J-bolts. Cheap.
