Another UV coating available separately is Opti-Lens, but it's expensive ($50). On certain old Mercedes, people have been known to slightly upgrade the wattage of their bulbs for more lumens light output.

Not interested in the HID or any of the other flashy head light options, just a simple replicate of the OEM assembly. I am having trouble finding reviews on the DEPO or TYC models. Any input is much appreciated.

2016年10月9日 · The key is to get the CFCL or the CCFL ones. I just can't remember the exact acronym. I had mine for 4 years and just now replacing them do to being a bit worn down after AZ heat and Belgium Cold and debris. Bought originally from CarID and no regrets at all. Looking for new assembly now and may go with exact same ones.

2023年8月7日 · Maybe not the best, but I picked up a set of Eagle Eyes replacement housings on ebay about two years ago. They look exactly the same as factory and fit great, although I'm not sure they are actually OEM spec. They came as a complete assembly (including the bulb and gasket around the bulb pin connector). I paid about $60 for the pair, free shipping.

I'm debating going back to a smoked oem w/ the regular bulb upgraded as outlined by @crashnburn80 Check his thread for the utimate headlight upgrade for oem headlight part numbers.

2020年8月5日 · Depo is the best after oem and alpharex are relabeled Chinese garbage. Just ask @crashnburn80 hes done multiple test with them showing how crappy there light output really is. Otherwise a proper retrofit led or hid projector are the best options I think.

While the high beam rating has been significantly improved (by over 20%), the low beam rating and life remain nearly unchanged. Low beams always burn out first in a dual filament bulb. The low beam is still rated at 200 hours, just like the Hyper bulbs.
