2018年6月18日 · Audacity 2.4.2 release build is 32-bit, but I believe that it can be built (on 64-bit Windows) as 64-bit from the source code. The next Audacity release for Windows ‘may’ be 64-bit, but that will be a big disappointment for any 32-bit Windows users, and may be an inconvenience for Windows users that have 32-bit VST plug-ins.

2023年1月6日 · If you have a old 32-bit version of Audacity installed, that you wish to preserve as is, then installing the 64-bit version could corrupt it the moment it is installed, before you have a chance to create a “Portable Settings” folder. I have a 32-bit version of Audacity installed, and 64-bit versions unzipped (not installed), on Windows (8).
