This has just been within the past 2 years. I only buy books used on Amazon or certain items from established companies with Amazon stores. And only if it has the return option, which thankfully most have. But within thr past few years, I've been getting more notably damaged stuff listed as "Like New" or "Very Good".

2016年2月26日 · This is the sort of thing Amazon Warehouse Deals does not check for - they simply verify it turns on and make a note of its condition. I've bought a ton of Used - Very Good items on amazon, and even several Used - Acceptable items, but only when they are cheap items, or items I don't need to keep running or being useful for years.

2017年12月10日 · I've never bought anything other than books from Amazon resellers and they've always been overly conservative on the damage estimations in that they'll always grade something lower than I would've. (i.e. It says Very Good, but the actual product has a small tear in the dust jacket or a but of a dent in the cover. Nothing inside damaged.)

I personally sell some things used on Amazon, and I have found that the rating systems do a good job of protecting the customer from bad sellers. Also, it seems that Amazon tends to land on the side of the customer in disputes, so I would feel very comfortable buying used.
