Aluminum versus Copper Bus Bars - Electrician Talk
2012年5月7日 · Obviously copper is a better conductor. What other advantages does a copper bus bar have over an aluminum bus bar. Price is one of them. What about voltage drop? Or corrosion. I noticed the panels with a copper bus bar have a lifetime warranty. Panels with aluminum bus bars have a 10 year warranty. Any comments.

2022年4月25日 · It was a Sylvania brand breaker, likely original equipment, decades old (not sure of age). In the picture you can see the clamp contact separated from the breaker and is very discolored from heat. The busbar in the panel appears to be made from aluminum and was slightly rough/pitted but otherwise didn't look too bad.

They has a 3 phase 200a 30 space QO panel where the bus bar was really bad. They are having me replace the thing (under 10 yrs old).
