2020年9月13日 · I have an 43" LG 4k IPS, a 27" ASUS 2k IPS, and a 27" ACER 2k VA monitors. I have compared the same image on all 3 monitors and for me personally the image on IPS looks more vibrant and accurate. But for the work that you do and console gaming, I would choose the VA and save the money.

I've been waiting for this kind of monitor for over a year that is 40+ inch 4k, PWM-free, non Korean ebay brand, 4:4:4 chroma, and has input lag much better than a TV. Will be getting this day one.

2015年6月17日 · Having owned and used 4k screens ranging from a dell up2414q (23.6" like this monitor) to a 32" 4k, the truth is that scaling issues have always been vastly overblown, and I got the up2414q in may 2014 before eventually selling it.

2020年10月20日 · The FI32U has really bad contrast, even for an IPS monitor. It looks super washed out in games IMO, and even on the desktop it seems kinda washed out, no matter what mode or calibrations I make. Even my older 4k60 IPS monitors look way better.

I assume he has gotten quite accustomed to using a monitor of that size, and as such would prefer a 4K monitor at least 30" or larger, so he's looking at something like a 31.5" 4K of some brand. 2019年3月13日 · In fact, I hadn't used an IPS monitor for years after I got this VA Samsung. I got a great deal on the WK600, and the sole reason I accepted the resolution/size/pixel density downgrade was because I wanted to experience Freesync, and it had a decent 40hz-75hz range.

2010年10月2日 · Before I bought my current VA monitor (AOC C27G1: 27", curved, 144hz, 1080p) I tried an IPS (Acer Nitro XV273, 240hz, 27") since I frequently saw them recommended, and I saw that particular monitor ranked as #1 at the time, and the IPS glow was awful, and so were the viewing angles. And it wasn't just a bad monitor because I tested two of them.

2022年9月23日 · This is an exaggerated photo which shows the off axis IPS glow. It (M32U/FI32U) does not look like this in practice unless all you do on your monitor is look at a black fill from a 30° angle. The actual difference will be much smaller - to the point where paying about twice as much for the LG model doesn't sound like a smart idea at all.
