2022年5月31日 · The build quality is quite good as well. I‘v had the KU4AB 6 meter square loop in the air since 2009 and the 2 meter stack square loops since winter of 2010. Iv had zero issues with them. No maintenance issues other then just general PM maintenance. They survived 2 hurricanes with between 83 mph - 97 mph with max wend gust of 114 mph.

2015年12月6日 · They are approximate numbers; as 2 meter wavelength corresponds to 150mhz; still, it's "close enough" that we just call it the two meter band. "5 meter" I have to assume you're mistaking for S-Meter; as there is no 5 meter ham band; There is a 6-meter band though right around 50mhz. S-Meter is a meter used to display signal strength.

You literally can scan the 2 meter repeaters here for hours and hours and only hear the repeater identifying. I’ve traveled to other cities as well and have noticed the same thing. Back in those days, even a entry level ht cost $250-$300 before you even considered an extra battery, a speaker mic and maybe a rapid charger.
