Troubleshooting badlands winch not working
2022年12月27日 · Update now that I'm back home and can use my wired connection on the winch. The motor will run 'in' (pulling line) but won't run 'out' (giving line). Unsure on next steps in terms of troubleshooting; any help would be appreciated.

2023年11月10日 · I exchanged it at harbor freight for a new remote but the new remote isn’t working either. It lets the cable out but won’t retract. The pin isn’t stuck in the hole, I tried straightening it after I pulled it out and saw it was bent and it snapped. I saw it fall on the ground so I know it’s not stuck in there.

2024年1月29日 · I've mounted it to a badlands hitch mount and wired it to my battery via a high capacity jumper cable directly to the battery terminals. Upon using the remote to pull even under zero load, the winch just clicks rapidly. The other direction it clicks once and stops. In either case the winch doesn't budge.
