Yeah, the game can be quite hard to beat and it does have its share of flaws like the medal system and lack of drop shadows, but it still does represent some of the finest that 3D Sonic has to offer surpassed only by the likes of the Adventure games.

Sonic unleashed is my favourite 3d sonic game. The HUB Worlds, the NPC's, the soundtrack, the amazing story, the night time stages (Though not a fan of the werehog, but still a consider its gameplay ok). Sonic unleashed gives you that kind of excitement and joy. Sometimes it may give goosebumps too. Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way.
