Her least favorite wrap is chrome; it marks very easily and is difficult to work with. Miss Ann originally worked in assembly. She put together tons of Rocker sets, which was the first new product to come out of Monroe.

The plant manager, a guy named Dick Gerlach, spent the whole day with just me, my 11 year old son, and a young exchange student from Germany.

I think the factory moved to Monroe in late November, 1984. At some point about 10+ years ago, Ludwig went back to the old-style smaller keystone badge, and then to a cast badge.

2021年3月27日 · This is an entry/midlevel 6.5x14" 4-ply chrome over wood snare, made in Ludwig's Monroe NC factory in the '80s - '90s. From 1982 - 1984, this model was called L-601 and part the S/L series, was then changed to LR-751 when the series renamed to Rocker/Rocker II in late 1984. If the inside of the shell has an off-whitish paint finish, it's an S/L.
