2014年12月28日 · The pellet stove has a built in air circulator that keeps my house nice an warm as the air is moved through out the house. I fill the stove prior to leaving in the morning and it is still going when I come home 14 hours later. The one thing nice about a pellet stove is you do not have to put heat shields around the stove similar to a wood stove.

Close proximity to combustibles with non pellet pipe or hot places on the stove are of course very important things that must be adhered to. The one that makes me laugh is the dude that will locate a vent near an air intake.

2006年3月15日 · Just installed my pellet stove tonight. Into a 32 foot chimney lined with a 5.5" stainless liner previously used for a wood stove. I used Simpson pellet pipe to the existing thimble. Really don't know why I didn't use three inch stove pipe but I had the pellet pipe already. Which brings up a question.

2008年9月19日 · When we had our Harman XXV installed by the stove shop, they used a special pipe to go from the 3" connector on the stove to a 6" opening in an existing chimney flue. The pipe was expensive, but it's adjustable height to match up to the flue opening & goes from the 3" to the 6" size in one pipe.
