2015年3月11日 · Corned beef for larger weights should be cooked either slow baked in a Reynolds large oven bag for the most tenderness, or covered with foil and slow baked in the oven so the meat steams, and tenderizes as it bakes. Some like to boil then lower gas and gently simmer for hours on the stove top.

Used the 1/2 cup of water mixed with 1/2 cup Guiness Stout and placed that into the oven bag and tied it. I cooked a 4 lb point cut corned beef and simmered in water twice to remove excess salt, then placed everything into the Reynold's Oven Bag (Large Size). Cut 6 slits on top of the middle of the bag to allow the food to slowly steam until done.

Some Target's carry it as does Albertson's/Jewel's stores. I make mine in the crock pot. I do not care for boiled cabbage so I fry up some bacon, remove it and then put in cut up cabbage.
