2023年5月18日 · It does, but U6-LR has weaker 2,4GHz radio (2x2 mimo) than the older model (3x3mimo) plus its range seems to be less good in 5GHz as my devices seem to connect to the UAP-AC-LR that is further away than the U6-LR which is closer. Just makes no sense to me at times. U6-LR causes more interference too.

2020年12月21日 · The 6-LR-AP is spec'ed for 802.3at PoE. The UniFi Switch Lite 8 PoE has eight ports, four of which are af/at PoE+. $109 list, perfect for powering two or three U6-LR-APs... And yes, any POE+ 802.3at compliant switch should also power the U6-LR-AP just fine as well.

I plan to use the new Dream Machine Pro SE as the PoE source for 2 U6-LR APs, but the Dream Machine Pro SE is 802.3af PoE with max port W of 15.4W. Anyone have any real world experience using UR-LR on 802.3af POE?

2024年1月29日 · damn thats insane. I deployed maybe about 50 U6-LR over the last 2 years. Once the U6-Pro's became available, started buying those and deploying. I had 1 U6-LR that I needed to RMA. I'm surprised Unifi allowed it because the unit was over a year old and it would reboot once the unit experienced increased load.

2023年7月12日 · Setup consists of UDMP, USW-24-POE, U6-LR, NanoHD, FlexHD, 2x G3 Pro, G3 Instant, G3 Micro. My next attempts to fix will be changing the POE port on the USW going to the U6-LR. If that doesn't work, I'll have to ladder up and take the U6-LR down to the basement and plug it in with a shorter cable to the USW.

As part of setting all these things up I did a RF Environment scan for the 2.4 and 5ghz frequencies which are pictured below.
