2023年4月19日 · This is a full nostalgia launch. It gives me hope that production is expecting to be cheaper because of more machines rather than cheaper or "new" materials. It sounds like the 2000s line. If they honor those prices, be prepared to drop the dosh next year cause my gut tells it might sell like wildfire. I'm DYING FOR LPS and my 2000s toys!

And I wouldn't expect the new LPS to be identical in quality to the originals. These aren't the first "remakes" that Basic Fun has made. I collect both the original G1 My Little Ponies, and the remakes made by Basic Fun. Yes, they look extremely similar, but collectors can still recognize the difference. The plastic and hair feel different.

So idk what to flair this but I noticed the blind boxes have changed the numbers we use to id pets recently, but I think after 4 boxes of this theory lining up, I’ve found the new formula. Add 16 to the number of the pet. For example, otter #7, my newest addition. 7 + 16 = 23, so the box number ends in 23. That held up.

2023年9月30日 · yeah I don’t want to be too nitpicky because im grateful they’re coming back regardless but when they showed the panda with the heart eyes I was fully expecting the 2007/2008 style which was peak LPS IMO. 2010 is okay but I was already pretty much over collecting in 2010 (as a kid) so I didn’t grow up with that style so its not as nostalgic for me.
