How to Get Netherite, and Whether You Should Use It Or Not
It can only be mined with a Diamond pickaxe or Netherite pickaxe. Ancient Debris is smelted into Netherite Scrap, and you need 4 Netherite Scrap + 4 Gold Ingots to craft 1 Netherite Ingot. But, because 4 Ancient Debris are required to make 1 Netherrite Ingot, it increases the difficulty to obtain the armor/tools over Diamond by about 4x.

Is netherite better on paper? Yes absolutely. Does it actually provide the player with a sizable advantage when playing? No not really. Dying in lava is very easy to avoid as long as your not careless and prot 4 diamond already provides so much protection that the switch to netherite isn’t even really noticeable.

It cannot be blown up and drops of ancient debris, netherite scraps, netherite ingots, and netherite tools cannot be burned in lava or fire (in fact, they skip off the surface of lava). When you nuke a big swath of the Nether, only the ancient debris blocks will be left floating in midair.

If you’re going to be fighting a lot of mobs/players, then I’d suggest getting netherite gear. If you’re working on a large-scale project, then I’d suggest getting netherite gear. If you want to do it just for the fun of it, then I’d definitely suggest getting netherite gear. If you’re just playing casually, I’d suggest not doing so.

2020年12月20日 · Tools and weapons made of Netherite dig faster, have more durability and do more damage, so they should be prioritized over armor in my opinion. All Netherite items are more enchantable than diamond, though, so you can get higher-level enchantments off of an enchantment table when you enchant them.
