2016年1月9日 · Harbor freight portable band saw picked one up at a garage sale for $25.00 and have to admit it cuts real good, it appeared to be new and never used. I don't buy HF tools but if it holds up well I'm going to have to think about buying one for my work shop.

I've never used any of the other portable band saws, so I don't know how the HF saw compares noise-wise, but it's a lot quieter than a circular saw or an angle grinder. I was a little worried when I bought it, it would crap out on me pretty quick, but I've used it a lot.

2021年9月17日 · With a new portable band saw and the swag table I'm guessing you would have 450-500$ or so in it. I know I could get a used 14" saw and purchase a new gear reducer and put it together for less than the 500$ and have a much more useful tool. With that being said, it's not a replacement for a good working horizontal band saw .

What brand blades are the best for cutting M390 and other Stainless Steels? I read somewhere that the Lenox 1/2" , 14-16 TPI, Di-Master II is a very good blade. Any comments? Would you guys recommend the Milwaukee 6232-21?
