2015年8月16日 · It's fun, but it's very much a WW1 mod of Napoleon TW. That is to say, it's not going to give you a particularly authentic first world war strategic or tactical experience. The artillery is really fun to use in it though. Or terrifying to have used against you effectively.

It doesnt quite capture the troop movement, although it tries to by changing some of the unit rules and allows for some period accurate things (you need cav to scout, units more likely to give ground, etc), however it captures the strategic aspect of the war amazingly.

2024年1月8日 · The most realistic aspects of WW1 that were in the game were what made the game so good, and I hope another developer tries the same approach. The heavy bombardments and chaotic close quarter fights between huge teams of players over a single objective really made you feel like a random ass soldier in way over your head.
