2012年9月26日 — If I don't have natto available, I would take Super K, from Life Extension, or their Low-dose K2. The Low-dose is 45 mcg of Mk7 and I can take that every-other day. The half life of Mk7 is over 3 days (pls see graph from wgr below). So, when I take the Super K (which has 100 mcg of Mk7), I would only take that twice per week. Hope this helps,

It doesn't take much and stays in the system for a few days; so if you take it daily, it accumulates. The MK4 form has a short life (like 4 hours) but no accumulation, no side effects. It's the form used in Japan's prescriptions to treat osteo there.
