2018年6月10日 · The chlorine will not keep. It hasnt gotten above 1 ppm if that. Most of the time it is 0. My cya has been 0 as well so I put 3 lbs of stabilizer in it 8 days ago and it is still reading 0. I put a pound of shock in last night after brushing hoping we could at least swim in it today but after just testing my readings are ph 6.8 cya 0 fc 0 tc 0 ...
Pool is still cloudy after two weeks of SLAMing. Help!

Over 5 so I diluted the test 1/2 and 1/2 and got a FC 6 Pool is still cloudy and filter pressure seems to stop at 19 psi. Starts at 15 psi. But it was up to 19 psi before I went to bed. Hmm... The sand filter did that too with DE added.

Water got a little After 2 days took the following readings: Been keeping the Chlorine around 10 for the last 4 days. It’s significantly clearer but not completely. I can actually see tiny particles suspended in the water.

However, it is a fair bit of work, requires a system that can vacuum to waste, uses up water which must be replaced, doesn't always work, and costs money. 2023年5月23日 · Pool ran for over a week with no luck, still cloudy and was green. Now pool is no longer green after serious shocking but still cloudy. I can make out the bottom area in my shallow end which is approx 4ft. Problem is that my local stores all suck and suggested the massive shock dose with super floc at the same time with my cartridge filter.

2019年7月1日 · After that, i ended up using a flocculant, which worked fantastically (HTH Floc from Walmart). The next day there were a ton of clumps on the pool floor that I vacuumed out and now the pool is way more clear. You can see the bottom and it's just slight cloudy (before is was extremely cloudy and you could only see down 6-8 inches).
