2018年11月26日 · I have a full box of Kobalt at our little cabin so I wasn't dragging tools anymore, and gifted sets to my son and nephews because of that decent quality and warranty. Yesterday I roll into Lowes and find nearly all the Kobalt hand tools gone. Just a single rack with hardly anything. I needed to warranty a socket. No go.

2018年12月5日 · So I got online and found a set of through hole sockets made by craftsman and I have to say, I am impressed with the quality. They are a black oxide tool now and they look really good. The kobalt socket set made it really hard over time to determine what socket size you had because it was a Chrome Vandium type socket With laser etched sizes on it.

2019年10月9日 · When I got the box home I cleaned it and adjusted the latches as well as using a self etching primer to prep for rattle can bed liner coating. First mod was to flip the bed rails so that I could remove the sliding tie-downs without being in the truck or so that I could have full access for the tool box to slide all the way to the back of the bed.

2020年6月17日 · Coming from land rovers, I carry every tool needed to do every job. My tool roll and other items have transferred to the ram. I carry 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 in sockets, extensions, swivels, torque wrenches, and breaker bars. I also have torx sockets, the reverse torx sockets for driveshaft bolts, adjustable wrenches, hose clamps, etc etc etc.

2018年5月2日 · Lift ONLY the front of the box enough to access and remove the two screws that thread into the nuts welded to the striker plate. This may allow this fix without disconnecting the electric cable. If = If the two 8mm screws have not been removed, do it now. The striker plate is now free of the rambox

2020年9月16日 · I used some tape to hold up the arm, took a sharpie, marked the wholes. Took an impact drill and the supplied screws, and straight into the bed. 6 per side, 4 on the end, 2 on the other side of the support arm. Then all I needed to do was put the swing box on the hinge, install the supplied lock, and Boom, It's done.
