Tennessee defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins plans to enter the transfer portal and explore opportunities elsewhere, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. He has been a consistent contributor on the defensive line unit the last two years after a redshirt in 2022.

After two years with the Hoosiers, Jackson is expected to move on. On3.com’s Pete Nakos posted on X on Saturday that Jackson entered the transfer portal. Indiana quarterback Tayven Jackson has entered the transfer portal, @On3sports has learned.

Another Alabama football defender is expected to enter the transfer portal. Damon Payne is expected to put his name into the transfer portal, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports/247Sports reported Tuesday morning. Zenitz spent the past three seasons with the Crimson Tide as a backup defensive lineman. He tallied 30 tackles and 0.5 sacks over that time.
