The lights and the camera connect to the fixture ... I provided my Wi-Fi network credentials to complete the installation. The Blink Wired Floodlight Camera worked flawlessly in testing.

Blink isn't a traditional alarm system ... were able to go through the setup process and successfully connect the camera to Wi-Fi. We didn’t have this issue with any other device.

The Wi-Fi connection allows the Blink to work with Amazon Alexa to let you do things like arm and disarm the camera using Alexa voice commands, as well as to stream video on an Echo Show device.
