Following a Christmas Day reprieve from a parade of storms, rain moves back into the Bay Area starting late Christmas night and into the weekend, forecasters said.
A ridge will extend south along the East Coast from a high pressure center over Quebec. The high will move offshore Saturday, followed by a series of fronts to close out 2024.
