Sony Interactive Entertainment has yet to release a statement about the problem, but it did update the PlayStation Network status page to show that several of its services weren't working.

Sony is aware of the ongoing issue, with the official PlayStation Network service status webpage stating that the outage started today (Oct 1) at 9.21am, though the timezone is unclear.
