Driving on the Chicago Skyway toll road will cost you a little bit more starting on New Year's Day 2025. The skyway is increasing the toll rates for all categories of vehicles in the new year.
With over 700,000 vehicles entering the congestion charge area in Manhattan daily per MTA figures, it equates to at least $4 million per day in toll revenue for the agency.
Drivers will need to pay a little more to take the Chicago Skyway beginning on Jan. 1. The cost for vehicles with two axles will climb from $7.20 to $7.80, according to the Chicago Skyway website.
