According their website the hours during Eid will be different, but they don't list what it will be. I suggest you call the evening prior to going and confirming the hours. John
I'm planning a trip to Beirut around New Years. Does anybody know if the Museum is closed both New Year's eve and New Years Day? The website only says it's closed on holidays but doesn't specify. If so is this the same for all museums in the city?

normally new year's eve is not a day off in Lebanon, only the day after, some places would close earlier, But better to check again with them or if u try to consult the ministry of tourism's website where you would also find more information about other attraction. I disagree with marie j it would be nice to see it as well as other museums such as Sursok, AUB and many others. It is true they are not huge but they are very well organized and packed with historical valuable items.
