One of our favorite stops during our trip out west! What an interesting, rare site this is. The film was so informative and we could not believe the site once we proceeded there after the film. Sherpa62840354049的完整评论
Mammoth dig site & Evans plunge. Can be done in the same day? Enjoyable for 2 adults & a 12yr old boy? How much time you think for both activities? Anything else near by that's a "must do?"

I would go to the Mammoth Site first which takes approximately 2 hours. If it's a nice day, have a picnic at Chautauqa Park which is on the road past Evan's Plunge. The Pioneer Museum on top of the hill is really nice and will take 2-3 hours. End the day at Evan's Plunge and take all the time you want splashing around.
depends upon what you are interested in. My hubby is a geologist so we spent about 2 hours there. but most could probably get by with an hour, give or take a little bit more time.
My family is getting together in SD this August. There is much to see and do, however, there are no children. Is this geared towards kids? Would adults be bored?
