Hi Michael Unfortunately there is no direct transport between Cutty Sark and the Royal Observatory Greenwich. We estimate the walk to be between 15-20 minutes with the latter part of the walk being up the hill in Greenwich Park. We hope you enjoy your visit!
I read about taking the catamaran from the London Bridge City Pier. What is the company called that does this and do you recommend the day trip? Any suggestions for lunch?

Regarding food, we found the cafes in the museum itself very busy, and a bit untidy - possibly not enough staff on duty to continually clear peoples' left over mess! The food offerings were OK for snacks, but you will find a greater variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants to cater for your tastes in the centre of Greenwich (close to the river).
