Our tour took us for the walk around the falls ( on the opposite side ) and we were able to view the falls from about 16 viewpoints. This is truly a wonder of the world. Unfortunately, the river was … GPaCalgary的完整评论

A wonderful site and experience. A natural wonder of the world. The pictures don’t do the falls justice. Our private guide was very informative! bobbiew264的完整评论

We went in October when we knew it would be at its lowest, however they were also in a huge drought. Please note there is lots of walking and while it's easy walking it's still a lot. We raced thro… Michelle V的完整评论
I am going to Vic Falls (from the Zam side) and will be crossing by foot into Zim for an hour or so. My main goal there is to get local currency coins. Can anyone recommend a place near the border (ideally not a currency exchange window) where they give change in Zim$ ? Maybe a restaurant or something close to the bridge that won't find it weird if I ask for my change back in all the coins? :)

As another person already answered the most likely Zimbabwean currency you will encounter will be souvenir bills in large denominations such as $1 million. This is because their currency has been significantly devalued. I don’t even recall seeing one coin in the entire country. My suggestion would be to purchase some souvenir coins or bills at Victoria Falls airport, where they have gift shops.
Hie, will be traveling to Kasane in two weeks and would cross over to Victoria falls. On exploring the falls, what kind of clothing is needed, activities available and everything we should know so we come fully prepared for the trip

A poncho is a must. While it won't keep you completely dry, it does help! Be sure you are okay with your shoes being completely soaked. We rented a poncho from a gentleman at the market across the street. The only thing was, when returning it, he really wanted us to buy some of his trinkets. We also did the falls in a different way. We took a boat and went in the actual falls. They gave us a very nice lunch and we actually hung over the falls! You can see where we were from inside Victoria Falls. Amazing!
I'm going to be going to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe side) in a little over a month. I'll be in and around that area for approximately 7-8 days. I know credit cards are accepted there, but I want to have some cash on hand too. Any suggestions on what a reasonable amount of cash to have on hand would be? Thanks!

Everything is very expensive, and VISA machines do not always work, so I would suggest USD100 per day and don't forget to take a lot of small bills.
