Spent the day hiking and exploring the area. It is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. The lava fields are very interesting. The lakes in the actual crater are absolutely amazing. Dacen K的完整评论
My husband and I are planning on visiting Oregon this coming summer - I just read a review that the visitor center for this park and the ability to get to the top was closed due to Covid19 in August, anyone know if it will be open this coming summer?? Just curious! Thanks!

It was open to hike in Sept 2020. The visitor center was closed but all else open. Probably will be open in 2021.

Paulina Falls is about 45-50 . minutes drive from Bend. Drive south on hwy 97 about 20 miles. The turn to Newberry National Monument is well marked, and a east turn. In 25 minutes more, there is a left turn to the falls. Parking lot. Simple bathroom. Then...you must drive 5 minutes further for the very best Oregon has to offer.
