Incredibly, that seems to be the case. Once Memorial Day weekend kicks in, they are open Thurs. through Sunday. Also note that the museum does not open til 11AM, and, if you are a lover of great illustrators you can easily spend the day there, so try and arrive as early as possible. Enjoy it!
