Although we only went to Bastrop State Park for hiking it looked like there was a little lake as part of the park. Oh course you can always go on-line to double check. Much of the park was ruined but the fires however they have done a great job as the camping areas really looked clean and well maintained. Although I cannot give you an absolutely positive answer I think you could have a nice time fishing from the shore in the park.

I called Bastrop SP and they informed me that the linen is included even towels. We are to bring additional if needed. No cooking utensils provided although there is a 2 burner …

There are a large number of RV sites in the park and just outside. But call the park for availability of sites as it is always busy.
