The Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg is beautiful! The English Gardens were gorgeous and beautifully manicured, and the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden was equally stunning and peaceful. A must see when visit… Nancy M的完整评论

I think the writer asked about the entire park and not just the zoo. The park does have a beautiful English garden a nice restaurant by the duck pond, beautiful open spaces. Unfortunately the conservatory is closed while a new one is preparing for construction. There is also a small art museum in the pavilion. The zoo is off to one side of the park and is quite a nice little zoo.

If you have a car rental, it would be about a 10-15 minute drive. You could take a cab, or if you had time, there may be city bus service. Your hotel may provide a shuttle to Polo Park (a shopping mall near the airport), then it would be an easy one bus ride to Assiniboine Park and the Zoo.
