2007年2月19日 · My 14-year-old son, who has been in braces for over 2 years already, is missing both his adult laterals. Right now he just has big gaps. It does not seem to bother him, so I guess he will just wait until he gets the braces off and has a retainer with fake teeth attached. Then we can decide if he wants to get implants later.

2009年3月23日 · In my upper jaw I have two "fake" teeth were my extracted teeth used to be. There used to be a gap on about one-two mm, but this has now closed due to some sort of elastics on the back. It used to be a gap, and now I can hardly floss. I was told they would "shave" the plastic teeth as we go along.

Anywho, my question relates specifically to implants and braces. I am missing my #9 tooth, which is currently hidden by a fake "pontic" tooth glued to a bracket so no one can really tell.
