Air India, on Monday, confirmed an order for 100 Airbus aircraft — 10 widebody A350s and 90 narrowbody A320 Family jets.

Airbus said the Riyadh headquarters will further bolster its commercial, defence, space and helicopter businesses in the region and globally.

Riyadh Air plans to begin passenger flights next summer and has placed an order for 60 A321neo planes, the largest among Airbus’ best-selling A320neo family, the company said in a statement.
